“I think he’s got a number of years to go,” Lacob said on the Point Forward Podcast when discussing Steph Curry. “And I think, hopefully, we’re gonna be better next year. These young guys will be better. Steph’s still got it.
I don’t see him going off a cliff. Sorry to the rest of the league. I don’t see him getting any worse… This guy is so well-conditioned, it’s unbelievable.”
These criticisms of Steph Curry are common; most recently, NBA legend Scottie Pippen stated,
” “From a physicality standpoint, Steph is strong for his size. This guy could give us at least another six years, easily.
He’s a shooter, and he’s the greatest shooter we have ever seen. He could probably play the game into his 50s if he wanted to.”
Steph has continued to build physical strength, which enables his overall game to continue flourishing in addition to his shooting prowess ensuring his game will age gracefully.
Joe Lacob believes that there is still much more to come, and that his most recent NBA Finals performance is the perfect culmination of that effort.

Joe Lacob took over as Golden State’s owner with the goal of returning to the Finals and winning a championship after last doing so in the 1974-75 NBA season. Stephen Curry would be the best of allies.
Before Lacob became the owner of the Warriors he was a fan of the Golden State team who bought his tickets for the entire NBA season.
This passion led Joe to believe in relying on unexpected draft picks and breaking the monotony of the league with a bomb signing when he deemed it necessary to sign Kevin Durant
