Max Verstappen is on course to win back-to-back Formula 1 titles after dominating so far in 2022, but the Dutchman has warned there no time for complacency despite his healthy lead.

Whilst his 2021 victory was arguably the most dramatic in F1 history, this time around he is on course to do it much more comfortably. The Dutchman is currently on 335 points, a whopping 116 points ahead of second place Charles Leclerc
Despite the healthy lead at the top Verstappen has reiterated there is no time to ‘relax’ as he looks to consolidate himself at the top.
He said: “It would be wrong to relax. So many things can go wrong, but also go right. Our intention is that we want to win more races – that’s how we will approach the remaining races.

“[We must] be consistent and we don’t want to retire. We had our little issues in the beginning of the season, but, we’ll see how competitive we’re going to be.”
Mathematically podium finishes in second and third alone would be good enough for the Dutchman to come away with his second world title in as many years, but the Red Bull man is keen to keep on winning throughout the remainder of the 2022 campaign.
