Max Verstappen has claimed that he would like to pursue endurance racing after his career as a Formula 1 driver is over. The two-time world champion wants to move over to a series that is fun but has less pressure.

Max Verstappen has the longest contracts on the grid right now. He is tied to Red Bull till the end of 2028. This means that he will be 31 years old when the contract runs out.
Max Verstappen spoke to Motorsport.com in Abu Dhabi and said that he does not want to follow in the footsteps of Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso and keep on racing into the 40s. He had explained had there are too many races on the calendar now which would mean that he would be away from home a lot.
He had also mentioned that the decision to not race into the 40s in F2 is “also because I want to do other things in racing, other disciplines.”

Max Verstappen explained that Formula 1 is definitely a lot of fun for him. Added to that, he is dominating the sport right now, so it’s even better.
“But I want to do other things as well. I know my contract runs until 2028. I will be 31 at that time. I’m probably still going to be competitive for a few more years after that,” said the two-time World Champion
“But in those years I also want to experience other things and just have a bit more fun with less pressure and less of a schedule,” said Max Verstappen.
