MVP Patrick Mahomes is locked in and ready to go for the Super Bowl Sunday as he put his injury concerns behind him with the Kansas City Chiefs declaring a clean bill of health.
The Chiefs are as healthy as they can be for Super Bowl LVII after the team reported a clean sheet on their injury report Friday.
It means that every player who was eligible to practice this week will be available for Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, crucially including Mahomes.

The 27-year-old quarterback sustained a high ankle sprain in the Chiefs’ 27-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the divisional round of the playoffs and was limited in his ability to run against the Bengals in the AFC title win (23-20).
But Mahomes, who scooped up the AP NFL Most Valuable Player award Thursday, practiced every day this week in the build up to the big game and has been cleared for action Sunday.

He had played down the injury concerns earlier in the week, insisting that he will try to play with ‘no restrictions’ in Arizona.
‘I don’t know if I’ll necessarily test it, but I’m going to try to have no restrictions,’ Mahomes said of his ankle on Tuesday.
‘Even in the AFC Championship game, I was trying to test it in and practice on it and do different kinds of stuff, but if there would be a play maybe if I was rolling out where I would kind of ease up on it.
‘Whereas this week I’m going to try to push it and try to be as close to 100 percent. Obviously, I’m not trying to tweak it or anything like that.’
The biggest question for the Chiefs was at wide receiver, where the Chiefs were shorthanded in the AFC Championship Game against the Bengals.

In a blow for head coach Andy Reid, some of those injuries have leaked over to Super Bowl week too.
It was already known that Kansas City would be without Mecole Hardman, who was not subject to injury designation after he officially was placed on injured reserve earlier this week.
But Kadarius Toney and JuJu Smith-Schuster both appear good to go for Sunday.
