This Wednesday the Netflix announced its first ever partnership with the NFL to release a new docuseries called “Quarterback”, which will take a unique look at the season through the eyes of three NFL quarterbacks, with the first installment featuring Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota, who were followed throughout this past season.
“Quarterback” will premiere in a couple of months, during summer 2023, talking the viewer to the moments where quarterbacks are inside the huddle or at home enjoying time with their families away from the field.

This was the first year that the NFL mic’d up every quarterback for every single game during the season.
Patrick Mahomes will undoubtedly be the star of the show
Pretty sure Netflix show runners and producers are ecstatic that Patrick Mahomes had a season as the one he just had while they followed him up closely during his day to day, with the Chiefs quarterback breaking season records, winning the NFL’s MVP as well as the Super Bowl and the Super Bowl MVP.
“I’m excited for fans to get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at an unforgettable season for the entire Chiefs organization and for my family,” was expressed by Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes’ 2PM Productions, a newly created enterprise for the quarterback will also be involved in the production of the series.
The streaming platform also talked about following closely the two-time Super Bowl champion.
“From welcoming home a new baby in the middle of the season to welcoming the Lombardi trophy back to Kansas City, our crew was there for it all. This new Netflix series will show the time, preparation and balance that it takes to be an NFL quarterback and perform on the biggest stage.”
