Checo Perez didn’t hesitate to label his Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen as aggressive during the Miami GP.
The Mexican driver finished second behind the Dutchman in the United States, although his description of his teammate didn’t come on the track.

Perez was asked by DAZN to assign several adjectives to his F1 opponents. The presenter was bringing out different characteristics such as “serious”, “fast” and “distrustful”.
When it was the turn of the word “aggressive”, Perez hesitated for a second, but in the end he said “Look, there is only Max left”.
In reality, the Dutchman was not the only driver missing, as there was still Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso that he could have attributed that term to.

Interestingly, the adjective that Checo did not want to assign to any driver was “gentlemanly”.
“I don’t think anyone [is gentlemanly], I know them from the track and on the track there is no gentleman,” he noted.
