mphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant took to Twitter on Thursday night to react to veteran guard Derrick Rose joining the franchise on a multi-year deal to help the young NBA player navigate the turmoil that comes with being one of the league’s highest-paid talents.
Morant, 23, used an emoji of a man doing yoga next to one of a rose — which could be interpreted as “Sensei Rose” or perhaps “Master Rose” — in reaction to a photoshopped image of him and Rose.

The Grizzlies guard has recently been embroiled in one issue after another due to a pair of videos of him flashing a firearm on social media and several reports of violence against a few individuals.
Rose, 34, saw his career all but end due to injury after becoming the youngest league MVP in NBA history. He was selected as the no. 1 overall pick by the Chicago Bulls in the 2008 draft.
The veteran star will certainly be able to offer a fresh perspective to Morant, who has to serve a 25-game suspension this upcoming season

But to have somebody like that, like D ain’t even gotta say nothing bro,” Randle said. “And I can look on the bench and I already know what he’s talking about, good or bad.
